Key cases

  • The Client (a non-profit entity) was held liable under administrative law for avoiding the vaccination of wild animals in established hunting areas. The Commercial Courts of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation found the charges to be lawful and on behalf of the Trustee an application was filed with the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.
The regulation contained in Clause 43 Part 3 of the Federal Law No. 209-FZ of 24.07.2009 “On hunting and the conservation of hunting resources and on amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation” was declared unconstitutional. The Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation upheld the position stated in the application that the purchase of vaccine for anti-epizootic activities should be at the federal budget's expense and not at the expense of a non-profit organization.
