Defence of the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan in the case of Y.M. Churbanov, son-in-law of CPSU General Secretary L.I. Brezhnev. Charge of taking bribes (14 episodes). The case against the defendant was dismissed at the investigation stage for lack of corpus delicti.
Between March 31, 1995 and December 31, 1999 represented Russian President Boris Yeltsin in the court cases on appeal against the Presidential Decrees on ouster of governors and ministers. Four of the five Presidential Decrees were declared lawful by the court.
Successful representation of bank (defendant) regarding recovery of purchased building. In the cassation instance of the St Petersburg Arbitration Court, the decision to return the building purchased by the bank was reversed. On the basis of this decision, a Resolution of the Supreme Arbitration Court was issued stating that the building could not be returned if it had acquired signs of a different purpose.
Representation of the plaintiff in a case regarding the establishment of paternity. This was the first time in court practice that a request for a genetic test had been filed and the test was ordered by the court and paternity was established.
