• Representation of the Client in court disputes in various English courts over recovery of more than USD 900 million from the Client's group of companies. As a result, a settlement agreement was concluded between the Client and 10 creditors, under which the Client's group of companies was restructured, allowing the Client to pay off its debts and continue business operations.
• Representation of a party to a corporate conflict in a series of disputes in Russian and Cypriot jurisdictions in connection with recovery of dividends from a Cypriot company and lost profits in the total amount over USD 150 million. As a result, the client's claim for recovery of dividends from the company was dismissed in full.
• Representation of the client in a court dispute over recovery of more than USD 50 million liquidated damages from the company for violation of Russian currency legislation. As a result, the claim for punitive damages against the client's company was dismissed in full.
